The The green machine as it is called was showcased in the recently concluded WSIS summit. The machine is a child of the MIT Media lab, and its a lowpower linux based full color , full screen laptop computer that can do almost everything as a regular laptop could do except for storing large amounts of Data.


Not just that This machine is also Wi-Fi enabled, meaning you are really mobile. This laptop is neat and very exciting, and the good point is that it's not for mass production but it's specifically aimed for the third world countries where computers so far have only been a dream.This is definitely be the dream machine that would make technology affordable to millions and millions around the world. If it succeeds at doing what it was intended for then this breakthrough would rank high up there as the invention of light bulb.
