Cricket fever has gripped India with Team India putting in some commendable performances, Viz courtesy of the new Finds.To me the Team looks much better without Ganguly and Laxman, I hope they stick with a team that's young and agile.The only missing face i would like to see is Kaif and some rotation in the bowlers.Srilanka has never been an easy roll over for India in the past, Srilankans have decimated similar Indian attacks many times and some of our lowest scores have been against Srilanka while chasing. That everyone has contributed to the victory so far augurs well for the team. Fresh, Young legs also mean that the Fielding standards will improve.How many times have i wished that Laxman or Ganguly really try to stop the ball rather than just chasing it until it hits the ropes.


Many would argue it's too early to tell if the team is good enough, can they produce a victory against Australia or south africa?, but that would only be tested when they really play those teams. we just have to give them the opportunity and watch. As long as these youngsters perform, they should be in the team, Cricket is not a game where you need just experience, you need enthusiasm and the pride of playing for your country.

Most talked about player this series so far has been Dhoni. With some scintillating knocks under his belt he is quite the wicket keeper India was looking for. May be if Ganguly had not persisted for Parthiv Patel during his tenure as captain, Dhoni might have got into the scene much earlier. Pathan hasnt been far behind so far, and i see another Kapil in the making. This change has been for the good of India, Rahul Dravid is a fine captain and the longer he is in charge of the team, the better it is for the team in it's buildup for the world cup.
